How ThermalFinn Makes Money
ThermalFinn is an independently operated sauna review and education site. We earn money through affiliate partnerships with retailers like Amazon, sauna manufacturers, and specialty suppliers.
When you click a product link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission. This doesn’t change the price you pay. The retailer pays us a referral fee from their existing marketing budget.
Our Testing Is Independent
Affiliate commissions don’t influence our rankings or scores. Every heater on our site was tested for 8-14 months in controlled conditions. We measure thermal output, stone temperature recovery, energy consumption, and build durability. The data determines the score. The commission rate doesn’t.
We’ve given low scores to products with higher affiliate payouts. We’ve given top rankings to products with lower payouts. If we didn’t do this, the data would be meaningless.
What Links Are Affiliate Links?
Product links that go to retailers (Amazon, manufacturer stores, specialty suppliers) are affiliate links. They include tracking parameters so the retailer knows we referred you.
